Rooms for Hire

We have two meeting rooms available to hire at very competitive rates, either for single sessions or regular use.

Our downstairs rooms have step free access, including the main Meeting Room, toilets and kitchen. There is also a stair lift giving access to the first floor. We have a disabled car park space that can be reserved at the time of booking.

 

Room 1: Main Meeting Room

Available for single use or regular events.

A large, light and spacious ground floor meeting room, suitable for public meetings, private gatherings and parties.

Seats up to 60 people (maximum occupancy).

£16 per hour.

Room 4: John Dennithorne Room

Available for single use or regular events.

A smaller meeting room on the first floor.

Seats up to 15 people 'lecture style'(maximum occupancy), or 10 'board room style'.

£11 per hour.

John Dennithorne (1895-1984) was a sculptor, founder of a nursery school and allotments in Dowlais, advocate at unemployment insurance tribunals, a peacemaker, a source of strength and enlightenment - and a Cardiff Quaker.

Kitchen

In addition, we have a communal kitchen on the ground floor for use as a refreshment area.

Fair Trade coffee and tea and sugar are available at no additional cost.
