The G.I.A. is dedicated to the study, application and dissemination of ancient and modern knowledge and the four pillars of Gnosis - Philosophy, Art, Religion and Science.
We deliver Gnostic Esotericism and meditation practises for self-knowledge and self-fulfilment. Meditation is a state of consciousness that can only be understood through direct experience and intuition. Unlike our everyday experiences, which are limited by time, space and by the laws of causality, the state of meditation transcends all limitations. In meditation, the past and future dissolve. What remains is the single consciousness of ‘I am’ in the endless, eternal Now which, with regular practice and self-understanding can be achieved. The meditations are supported by the teaching which explains our psychology from our origins and spiritual self. This brings self-understanding and with understanding ourselves we understand the world in which we live. As it says above the ancient temples of Delphi "Know Thyself and you will know the Universe and the Gods." This is not just a quaint saying, it is a Universal Truth.
As Samael Aun Weor says: "The awakening of cosmic consciousness in man is the most grandiose event in the Universe."

This can take many forms and commonly includes addiction to internet pornography, destructive affairs, and paying for sex, but also includes any form of sexual behaviour that is self-harming or destructive. This is not an 'open' meeting and attendance is for members only, but we warmly encourage anyone who is struggling with their sexual thinking or behaviour to have a look at our website and/or contact us by e-mail or telephone. There is a way out!

Services, every Sunday at 4pm, are conducted by our minister and a variety of preachers and sermons may be on a variety of different topics. But all affirming the Unitarian principles of oneness, love, freedom, and curiosity. The second Sunday of the month the service is in Welsh.
